The downfall of the Americas due to the illusory concept of a democratic parliamentary system.

Over the last few decades, the American democratic parliamentary system has been plagued of representation by intellectual demi-mondes - some would say dilettante. These elected statesmen show such levity in discussing and deciding on matters that would demand the most painstaking consideration - even from some of the greatest minds in the nation.

For example, not more than one-tenth of the parliament have studied the elements of economics. Concluding, that final authority of the most important economic issues effecting the American country is vested in men who are utterly devoid of any preparatory training which might make them competent to decide on the questions at issue. Not only are these elected statesmen delegated authority to speak upon our counties economic issues, but also delegated to decide on aspects such as foreign policy, domestic policy, infrastructure, and bills of law. Our parliamentary system is not adequately composed in order for focus on specific issue, yet to focus on a myriad of unrelated issues that are haphazardly decided upon.

This democratic parliamentary system forces our politicians -who do not want to appear as fools to their associates to pass judgment on questions for which he is incompetent. In this moral debasing political system based upon image rather than individual genius, never will a politician say: "Gentlemen, I am afraid we know nothing about what we are talking about. I for one have no competency in the matter at all."Those who have a knowledge of human nature know that nobody likes to be considered a fool among his associates; and in certain circles honesty is taken as an index of stupidity. An presidential candidate or that of an aspiring senator would never honestly admit they are in adequately educated on a particular subject, as their name would be tarnished throughout by the media and press - which has proven to be vital in the victory of any election by shaping public opinion.

Many will be apprehensive believing that an elected deputy would have the audacity to present his constituents with an uneducated decision. A counter argument may be put forward here. The counter argument is that if the member does not have the knowledge to accurately asess an political question or impending issue, then the advice of his or her political party will be the guiding voice In the spokespersons answer. You can also further the assurance of a proper answer in stating that a certain political party sets up special committees filled with experts to accurately answer difficult political questions and issues.
At first sight, that argument seems sound. But then another question arises - namely, why are five hundred persons elected if only a few have the wisdom which is required to deal with the more important problems?

It is not the aim of our modern democratic parliamentary system to
“bring together an assembly of intelligent and well-informed deputies. Not at all. The aim rather is to bring together a group of nonentities who are dependent on others for their views and who can be all the more easily led, the narrower the mental outlook of each individual is. That is the only way in which a party policy can be put into effect.
